"Great selection of sandwiches and crepes. Everything is really tasty. My favorite is the Nutella and banana crepe, and my husband's favorite is the cheeseburger. The place is located inside a corner store, but it is very easy to find. Just walk in and it is on the left. Alex, the cook and owner, is very friendly and truly professional. The place is clean, and the ingredients are always fresh and good quality. Highly recommended."

"I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich today and was not disappointed with a big layer of nicely cooked bacon. The Chef is a super nice guy. Looking forward to getting a crepe next time. And the best part is that he accepts Bitcoin too! I used my own lightning wallet but if you're curious how it works, just buy some Bitcoin on CashApp and then use that to pay the QR code invoice he will show you. This is one of the FIRST businesses to accept Bitcoin in the District."

"I came by to pick up lunch after grabbing my dry cleaning and glad I did. I got a savory crepe and a smash burger. Both were good but the smash burger was phenomenal. The owner is a really nice guy too and I wish him and his business the best. The place is inside a grocery store but don’t let that stop you. I’ll definitely be coming back."

"Hidden gem in a convenience store! The Big Chef serves a variety of dishes, including crepes, breakfast sandwiches, smashburgers, and unique Balkan-style kebabs + sides (the chef/owner is from Montenegro), and everything I’ve tried so far has been high-quality and delicious! My favorite is the ham, cheese, egg, and spicy mayo crepe, which might be the best crepe I’ve ever had — and it was also gigantic! Prices are reasonable, service is fast, and the chef is incredibly nice. And the food really is top-quality for being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood convenience store. I can’t wait to come back again and try more!"
